tokyobike este o companie mică, independentă, fondată în 2002 în liniștita suburbie Yanaka a Tokyo-ului. Numele este legat de destinul bicicletei, la fel cm mountainbike-urile sunt destinate folosirii pe munte, tokyobike este destinat metropolelor urbane. Bazate pe conceptul tokyo slow, bicicletele sunt proiectate pentru a fi ușor de folosit, cu accentul pus pe confort și mai puțin pe viteză. Bic
