In an interview with Kirlian Camera (official), Angelo Bergamini expressed his admiration for vivianaball.ro's photography. Thank you, KC for the love!
MM: your favorite photo artists, Angelo?
AB: Ellen Von Unwerth, Guido Harari and Helmut Newton, among many others who are less popular... I recall Frank Buttenbender, Fabrizio Cerroni, Salvo Bombara, Daniela Vorndran, HR-Pictures, The Silent View and Francesco Arena. I also like so much the live reports a friend of us – Viviana Ball - is publishing on socials...
Interview with Kirlian Camera, July 23rd (MMO)
Mickey's Mice Organisation: What u gonna offer @ Amphi Festival Cologne? Best of setlist or new material, maybe Spectra?
Elena Alice Fossi: A good chance to make some good acquaintance with some unreleased material. The show will in fact include our brand new single and some songs from “Hologram Moon”, the forthcoming album, as well as unreleased material and “classics”.
MMO: True u gonna perform on a ship?!
Elena Alice Fossi: yes, that's true. We are going to perform at Orbit stage. That's into a ship anchored on the river Rhein. Appealing location!
MMO: True ur new album been made with Covenant and Black Needle Noise/This Mortal Coil's John Fryer, the producer of greatest successes of Depeche Mode and NIN?
EAF: Yes, we worked along with Covenant on a couple songs, likely singles and John took care of mixing the whole work along with HAL/Angelo and myself.
MMO: Kirlian Camera becomes a Super Team of successful artists!!! Early impressions say the new songs are bombs... As for myself, I think its gonna be ur best realease ever, if the tracks are those u performed in Erfurt!
EAF: well, the audience reacted greatly, no doubt on that! Yes, we're driving on our own way, far from any model, by now...
MMO: By the way, u gave up with modelling career some years ago, but seems u signed to a couple fashion maisons through the last days... Gossip!!!??? Seems that Elisabetta Franchi too...
EAF: no, well, or better... I signed as a testimonial for a new and talented Italian fashion stylist, a very creative one, Morgan Visioli. So, I'm doing photosessions, videosessions, blahblah... I'm doing that because he's a friend and it's nice and funny to work together, then Morgan and his team are very interested in music; no real comeback to modelling, exceptions aside! Music is my life and everything depends on that... I think I won't sign any other agreement as for fashion things.
Too much confusion! I need concentration...
MMO: Will Angelo/Hal be on stage in Cologne?
Angelo “Hal” Bergamini: yes, probably.
MMO: Will be possible to see your face, this time, if you perform?
AB: no, my face is my mask.
MMO: But you've got such a long beard! Scandal to cover it with mask...
AB: my beard and my mask aren't important. Listen to the music and the voice of the great singer/performer that KC has. That's all.
MMO: seems this new album sounds hugely electronic, kinda “futuristic dark” with great melodies. Guitars almost disappeared . Is it Angelo to take care of not many surviving guitars in the studio?
EAF: Yes, Angelo definitely played the few electronic guitar chords. He actually found great sounds, especially as for electronics goes.... We started researching a lot, even into physics area, in order to use adequate effects on the songs. Our songs sound so “cosmic-like”, now. We always tried to give shape to this dream: mixing space sounds with melodies and noises. We have been working a lot on such a “target”.
MMO: Elena Alice... easy to work with Hal?
EAF: yes, it is, in a way. He's a very demanding person, a very special entity. Yes, after all that's so easy, as... it's so uneasy to work and live with all of the jackasses running around this world, being totally unable to actually have a real and “intelligent feeling”, kind of deep passion and rationality combined together. Angelo is not human. HAL9001, definitely... Working with him is the best.
MMO: Angelo is more & more growing up as photographer. There're rumours he's gonna release a photobook and there'll be an important exhibition...
EAF: I guess an official foto austellung has real chances to be set up. In fact, somebody is noticing his talent, at last... in spite of the fact Angelo does not consider himself to be a photographer. I personally perceive that his passion, good taste, talent and experience go beyond by far the borders of standard professionality. A collection of his pictures will come available throughout the next months. I think he's really attracted by the sea lights and erotica art.
MMO: you worked with some of them.. Guido Harari is simply a star. He worked with you for “Ocean”, right?
AB: Yes, Guido really is a great professional, but even a man with delicate sense of humour. Working with him was really nice.
MMO: Some war wind is blowing at KC's, isn't it? You look more and more as real antisocial anarco-rebels activists... A rare case, in the music scene, where everybody plays the rebel for some sad old decaying circus.
EAF: We're Italians, Europeans, not zombies. So, expect problems! Time to react to global tyranny has come...
MMO: Elena performs at CSD Gay Festival in Magdeburg pretty soon. Any tension? I mean your pro-LGBT activity is well-known and nowadays your show might disappoint some fanatics... Are you fully relaxed?
EAF: not relaxed, exactly, but I trust Magdeburg people, even those whom couldn't appreciate my hotpants and this my supporting gay rights. I think the concert will be a good chance to have a meeting with the audience, taking photos and play some nice electro music... No, I feel no worry.
Tell me your gonna play Star Bubbles!!! It's a hell of a hit since weeks down in my playlists. WOW I LOVEIT!!!
EAF: AHAHAH! Well, yes, Betty will be telling electropop adventures with an help from Star Bubbles and many other technologic dance makers, not forgetting the Spectra/Kirlian collaboration song “Lux Industries”!
