Muzica trupei Amprenta este în primul rând o muzică originală, sinceră, și interpretată cu pasiune. Este rock de filon. Ea își găsește loc în memoria auditivă în mod natural tocmai de aceea. În premieră, în Echoes se propune decompunerea pieselor în parte lemn, parte metal, ambele compunând universul Amprenta. Vino să descoperi!

Like every Tuesday, we continue with the 132nd installment of our Jam Session series.

Starting at 20.00. Free entry, as always.

What are we celebrating today:

☔️ On October 13th, 1958, A Bear Called Paddington was published for the first time and a small bear from Darkest Peru arrived at Paddington Station. He owned a suitcase, a hat and a label around his neck asking whoever found him to please look after him.

Someone did.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown found him sitting near the lost property office, took him home and gave him the name of the station where they met.
What followed was almost seven decades of marmalade sandwiches, hard stares, accidental chaos and frankly, the best friendship ever.

So come in from the weather. Bring an instrument, bring a friend, or just bring yourself. We know you’ll find a friend here. 🐻

About the Echoes × The Conclave Jam Sessions:

This is a celebration of the uniting power of music, a regular gathering of musicians and aficionados. We’ll have a good old-fashioned jam session with some experimentation, spontaneous collaborations and plenty of good vibes.

❗️There are RULES, though. To make sure everyone gets a chance to play, sign up on the waiting list. Every participant gets a 15-minute slot on stage.
We provide the backline, drums and cables.

Just bring your instrument, plug in and create something together. Or simply grab a drink, find a cozy corner and enjoy an evening of live music.

Spread the word. Bring your friends.

The past, present and future walk into a bar.
Somehow, they all end up at Echoes 🌚

This week starts loud with Jam Session #131 on Tuesday, then gets social on Wednesday with Sync & Drinks because networking is significantly more tolerable with an actual drink in your hand. Isn’t it? 🥂

Thursday belongs to Marinov and his vinyl selection, while Friday goes properly nocturnal with Cioc Cioc Events taking over the haus for The Friday Echo, with Alex G & Luis Salidim behind the decks.

Saturday, we lower the BPM for some Chill Autumn Grooves from 1 PM. Then Sunday closes the circle with Jazz Impromptu Evening No. 21 feat. The Students: improvised, unpredictable and exactly where it needs to be.

Somewhere between all that: new merch at the bar, special prices, and several perfectly reasonable excuses to spend more than one evening at Echoes.

Some arguments are too good to settle once. 💿

This Sunday, from 5:00 PM, Alexandru Marinov and Petru Stratulat are back at Echoes for another round of Vinyl vs. Digital.

On one side: Marinov, DJ, defending the warmth, ritual and occasional crackle of vinyl.
On the other side: Petru Stratulat, radio host, founder of Lounge Avenue Radio and a man with 20 years behind the mic at stations including Radio Guerrilla and Europa FM, making the case for the digital world.

Two formats enter, but we let your ears decide.

We start on Tuesday with episode 42 of Voices/N/Echoes, our monthly open-mic for singer-songwriters and new bands. Wednesday brings a special Orkid set, followed by the monthly Game Dev Meet-up on Thursday. On Friday, ᴢᴀᴍᴍᴏʀɪᴀɴ takes over for a live concert, while the weekend is still keeping a few things to itself.

Stay tuned for Saturday and Sunday. ✨

*You may find a few easter eggs along the way.

Next Friday, Oct. 2nd, ᴢᴀᴍᴍᴏʀɪᴀɴ return to the Echoes with a different immersive set.

History doesn’t always wait for the release date, does it? 💿

Like every Tuesday, we continue with the 130th installment of our Jam Session series.

Starting at 20.00. Free entry, as always.

What are we celebrating today:

On September 22nd, 1972, Pink Floyd played a legendary set at the iconic Hollywood Bowl.

The setlist included an early live version of The Dark Side of the Moon before its official release, as well as a 29-minute rendition of Echoes.

The image on this week’s poster is of Pink Floyd’s Crackers (subtitled Damn Braces: Bless Relaxes), a famous bootleg triple-LP capturing the band’s entire aforementioned concert.

A full moon. An unreleased masterpiece. And Echoes stretching into the night for 29 minutes.

Poza e mai veche, de prin ‘21 sau ‘22 cand aveam studioul la Malmaison și eu încă beam bere. Dar revenind în prezent, miercurea viitoare ne puteți vedea în această formulă la o treabă inedită. Eu scot sunete noi și irepetabile din chitare, pedale, synthuri și tot felul de alte instrumente, iar Radu desenează live pe muzica aia apocaliptică și totuși plăcută, ba chiar fericită, măcar pe alocuri, măcar pentru mine. Ison ambiental de dans și jale, să îi zicem. La Echoes, pe 30 octombrie, la aniversarea lor. Hai ❤
