“Cestrum Nocturnum” — Exhibition by Tincuța Marin

Jecza Gallery Bucharest presents Cestrum Nocturnum, the new exhibition by Tincuța Marin. The title refers to the nocturnal flower known as “Queen of the Night,” which blooms in the evening after sunset, at a moment when things begin to shift and are perceived differently.

Romania at the 2026 Venice Art Biennale: “Black Seas – Scores for the Sonic Eye”, a project about memory, geopolitical tensions, and ecological transformations

Romania participates in the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2026 with the project Black Seas – Scores for the Sonic Eye, created by artists Anca Benera & Arnold Estefán.

Curated by Corina Oprea and Diana Marincu, the exhibition is presented both at the Romanian Pavilion and at Palazzo Correr, within the New Gallery of the Romanian Institute for Culture and Humanistic Research.

“Scars from Soft Blades” – fragility becomes a tool for reflecting on transformation and becoming.

The exhibition Scars from Soft Blades by Ada Muntean, on view at Himera from March 14 to May 30, 2026, brings together a new series of graphic and painterly works created specifically for the gallery space. Positioned at the intersection of memory, the subconscious, and the imagined, the project unfolds as a sensitive visual discourse in which fragility becomes a tool for reflecting on transformation and becoming.

RHYTHMIC STRESS. On the relationship between movement, the body, and the invisible pressures of the present

“Rhythmic Stress” brings together a large international group exhibition at /SAC @ ACADEMIEI, co-curated by Alex Radu and Charles Moore. Situated at the intersection of dance, performance, and contemporary art, the exhibition proposes rhythm as a mode of thinking and as a tool for negotiating tensions between control and release, resistance and collapse.

Curated by Norbert Filep, this group show brings together works by Victor Ciato, Ioan Sbârciu, Radu Comșa, Simion Cernica, Leonardo Silaghi, Maxim Liulca, Mihaela Hudrea, Norbert Ștefan, and Oana Năstăsache.

“Sortir du noir”. Solo Exhibition by Petru Lucaci at Gloriae Art Gallery

At GLORIÆ Art Gallery in Craiova, “Sortir du noir”, a solo exhibition by Petru Lucaci, curated by Ruxandra Demetrescu, can still be visited for a short time.

The exhibition takes its title from Georges Didi-Huberman’s book and brings together two recurring directions in the artist’s work: chiaroscuro and the human body.
