One of my most powerful portraits and definitely one of my favourite, "Mr. Corbu" (corb=raven in English), it is an oil on canvas and it measures 80x100 cm. Part of my recent exhibition "Socluri de piele".

Mr. Corbu has been a regular client of Alis Auction House for a very long time and is the president of the Writers' Union in Romania. As you may expect, he mainly collects books and his library is full of every book you can imagine. Definitely one of my favorite clients, he is an outstandingly nice and kind person, although it may look like I managed to capture his shadow in my painting, haha - we all have one. It was an immense pleasure to paint him and i don't think that this will be the last time. If I had to come up with another title for this painting It would be "Power".
