امّا رضایت، حسی است که تا مدت‌ها پس از لحظه‌ی حس کردن در ما باقی می‌ماند.
‎تفاوت این دو به‌طورِ خلاصه عبارت است از: لذّت، حسی زیبا را به جسم میدهد، امّا رضایت، روح را خشنود می‌سازد.

حتی در تاریک ترین لحظه ها، به خصوص در تاریک ترین لحظه ها، جا برای قدرت و شجاعت هست. لئون لایسن تنها ده سال داشت وقتی نازی ها به لهستان یورش بردند و او و خانواده اش را به گتویی به نام کراکو بردند. لایسن با خوش اقبالی، مقاومت و ثبات قدم توانست از سادیسم نازی ها جان سالم به در ببرد. در نهایت، سخاوت و زیرکی مردی به نام اسکار شیندلر بود که زندگی او و خانواده اش را نجات داد. شیندلر، نام اعضای خانواده ی لایسن را در فهرست کارگران کارخانه ی خود قرار داد….( خلاصه )
