It is both an honor and a deeply moving experience to be part of the journey leading to the launch of Maestro Dexter De Lara Tumang’s original composition, ONLY PEACE. This piece is more than music—it is a heartfelt invocation for harmony in a world often clouded by conflict and division.
Our practice sessions have been a profound exploration of the song’s emotional landscape. Maestro Dexter’s arrangement challenges us not only musically but spiritually. Each note, each harmony, is crafted to evoke the longing for peace, the resilience of hope, and the beauty of unity. The choral layers—soprano, alto, tenor, and bass—intertwine to form a tapestry of voices that speak to the soul.
What makes Only Peace especially powerful is its universal message. Whether you are in Doha, Manila, or anywhere in the world, the song resonates with a shared human desire for calm amidst chaos. Maestro Dexter composed and arranged this piece during July 10–20, 2025, right here in Doha, and that local connection adds a special intimacy to our performance.
As the launch took place Friday, October 31, 2025, at Almasa Ballroom, Ezdan Hotels Tower 3, we are reminded that music can be a vessel for change. The Sacred Voices, alongside MVEP and TOPI and soloists from the Filipino Community, brought this message to life, and we hope that every listener leaves inspired to carry peace forward in their own way. Because in the end, Only Peace is not just a song. It is a call to action, a prayer, and a promise.
