Visiting "Into the Modern: Impressionism" exhibition felt like stepping into the heartbeat of art history. Monet, Renoir, Corot, Sisley… their mastery of light, colour and movement reminded me why Impressionism still speaks so loudly today.

What I love most about Impressionism is how it’s less about perfect realism and more about capturing the emotion of a moment — the atmosphere, the light, the fleeting beauty. As a palette knife artist, I’m always inspired by their bold strokes, broken colours, and the way they embraced texture long before texture became “modern.”

Walking away with fresh inspiration for my palette knife textures and colours. 🎨

"Path of the Gods" — through my palette knife
I finally picked up my knife and oils again after a long while. This piece is inspired by a moment of stillness during our hike along the Sentiero degli Dei in Italy — where cliffs kiss the sea and flowers bloom like they're part of a dream.
