The NEOPOP Festival 2026 is considered the biggest electronic music event in Portugal and one of the most prestigious in Europe. The next edition will take place from 14 to 17 August 2026 in Viana do Castelo, attracting thousands of national and international visitors.
The official lineup has not yet been announced, but following the festival’s tradition, it is expected to feature a mix of world-class names in the electronic scene along with emerging talents. More than a festival, NEOPOP is a meeting point for everyone who breathes electronic culture in all its forms.
The event takes place next to the Forte de Santiago da Barra, a historic site with a privileged view over the Atlantic. Beyond the music, participants can explore Viana do Castelo: wander through the old town, climb up to the Monte de Santa Luzia, or relax on the region’s beaches.
Although the festival does not offer official camping, there are plenty of accommodation options in the city and nearby, including hotels, hostels, and local stays. In addition to concerts, NEOPOP usually features art installations, visual performances, and immersive experiences that enhance the festival’s unique atmosphere.
Access to the city is easy and varied: trains and buses connect Viana do Castelo to Porto and Lisbon, and Porto Airport (OPO) is about 45 minutes away.
