Somos um grupo vocal de 10 amigos que se conheceram no Coro da Universidade de Lisboa e têm em comum o amor pela música, Disney and all kinds of geeky stuff. Agora estamos a explorar repertório de inspiração celta, nórdica e medieval, no nosso novo projecto Musas e Lendas!

As the nights keep getting darker, we take time to celebrate Arianrhod, the Celtic Goddess of the Moon, and the silver light that shines upon the murk.

The wheel keeps on turning the stars, as she weaves the fates that await us with the divine thread that connects all realms.

Thus, let your spirit feel the guidance of the wise owl, as we welcome these times of blooming magic and rebirth!

Festa fatídica de Arianrhod!

À medida que as noites ficam mais escuras, reservamos tempo para celebrar Arianrhod, a Deusa Celta da Lua, e a luz prateada que brilha sobre a escuridão.

A roda segue e faz girar as estrelas, enquanto ela tece os destinos que nos aguardam com o fio divino que une todos os reinos.

Assim, deixa o teu espírito sentir-se guiado pela sábia coruja, enquanto damos as boas-vindas a estes tempos florescentes de magia e renascimento!

Alguns momentos do nosso concerto em Maio, com o qual tivemos a honra de participar no evento comemorativo do 60° aniversário da morte de J.R.R. Tolkien "The road goes ever on and on", na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa. Às vozes da Mell e do Keernan juntou-se a incrível de Mick Greer, e os três trouxeram à vida momentos de Senhor dos Anéis, intercalados com as nossas versões dos temas de Howard Shore, Bear McCreary, Clamavi de Profundis, e Enya.

Um agradecimento especial ao Tomás Ferreira, ao Miguel Andrade e ao Centro de Estudos Anglísticos pelo convite e acolhimento!

Some moments from our concert in May, our participation in "The road goes ever on and on", an event at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, celebrating the 60th aniversary of the death of J.R.R. Tolkien. The incredible voice of Mick Greer joined Mell's and Keernan's to bring to life some moments from The Lord of the Rings, interspersed with our versions of the songs by Howard Shore, Bear McCreary, Clamavi de Profundis and Enya.

We'd like to thank Tomás Ferreira, Miguel Andrade, and the Center of English Studies for the invitation and reception!

Litha Blessings!

Today we mark the longest day of the year and the turning of the balance between light and dark, when the Sun shines its brightest.

It is time to remember the splendid harmony of the world that surrounds us and that, pulsing in our veins, also illuminates us from within.

Let us bathe ourselves in the light that rejuvenates and prepare ourselves with vigor for the remaining half of the year, with the clarity that everything asked for or dreamed of on the night of Litha will be fulfilled!

Benções de Litha!

Hoje marcamos o dia mais longo do ano e o virar do equilíbrio entre a luz a escuridão, quando o Sol brilha mais alto.

É a altura para relembramos a harmonia esplendorosa do mundo que nos rodeia e que pulsando nas veias, nos ilumina também de dentro.

Banhemo-nos na luz que rejuvenesce e preparemo-nos com garra para a metade do ano que resta, com a clareza de que tudo que for pedido ou sonhado na noite de Litha será realizado!

Meet the Muses and Legends

Olaud, de olhos azul platina,
Fiandeira de uma nova sina,
atentando às areias de saturno,
contempla o céu noturno.

Clamando o místico rutilar
do suave e gentil luar,
vê neste mar de prata raiada,
futuras marés anunciadas.

Aqui onde os acasos alinham,
entrelaça fios que cintilam,
e para fora das trevas conduz
os que perderam a sua luz.

Olaud, with eyes of argent blue,
weaver of destinies anew,
with sands of time in her sight
she gazes skyward to the night.

Calling forth the mystic gleam,
of moonlight’s soft and gentle beam,
amidst a thousand silver threads,
she glimpses where the future heads.

Within this state where fate aligns,
glowing strings she intertwines,
For those who might have lost their spark,
To find their way back from the dark.

O aconchego do asfalto que não escalda, que aquece.
Um arrepio doce que escala e permanece.
Um abraço.
A certeza de que mesmo por detrás da escuridão sempre amanhece.

Entre harmonias que confortam e alentam os mais bravos caminhantes, Eulah ilumina o espírito daqueles que ousam procurar o seu rumo, vivendo e bebendo da fonte da vida.

The certainty that after dark always comes dawn.

In the midst of harmonies that hearten the most audacious wanderers, Eulah illuminates the spirit of those who brave their way,relishing in the essence of the sun.

e a noite dá lugar ao dia,
assim o ciclo continua
e novas histórias insistem ser contadas.
Para garantir este equilíbrio perpétuo,
surgem duas novas entidades,
dos raios alegres do sol,
e do brilho resiliente da lua,
para iluminar o caminho em frente.

so the cycle continues
and new tales are urging to be told.

from the joyful shine of the sun,
and the resilient glow of the moon,
to light the paths ahead of us.

Esta actuação contará com um repertório tradicional folk.

Esta actuação será um híbrido de leitura e música do universo de Senhor dos Aneis.

🍀 Dias 1 e 2 de Julho (Fim-de-Semana), no Mercado Medieval de Cambra, em Cambra, Viseu.
