We've made a pledge at Sugi. No more plastic in our frames. Back when I had a frame business in Lisbon, I made countless trash cans full of plastic each week that meant almost exclusively to wrap and tape packaging. We've decided to recicle and reporpuse every package that comes in and out. It's time to put our actions where our mouth is.

Our router bit broke in the middle of the job. We had to built a total different jig for the new router bit we have here. It works better than the former one. Happy days :)

Today it was "building a jig day" for our biscoit joiner. We are building huge frames so we need all the grip we can get for our corners.

One of the steps of making a Sugi frame is to put Mohogani bits between the junction of two pieces. This Mohogany wood is collected from scraps found in the local wood mill.
