Starting September 2026

We are looking for a funding volunteer to join our creative community for a minimum of 6- 9 months ✨

If you have experience with grants, love meaningful projects, and want to live surrounded by nature and creativity, this might be for you.

💫 What you’ll find here:

🕊 Your role:
Supporting our projects around 16h/week through:
• Funding applications
• Grant coordination
• Partner networking
• Connecting with local municipalities & organisations

🌍 We are looking for someone with:
• Fluent English and preferably Portuguese
• Passion for writing
• Experience in European funding streams: Erasmus+, ESC, Creative Europe
• Experience in Portuguese funding streams: ie. DGArtes
• Interest in community, culture & collaboration

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞: PLAYFUL ORIENTATION

How do we find orientation? Sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch are the most familiar senses that help us to navigate. Additionally we have other special senses that detect the pull of gravity and the movements of our body in relation to the earth. These senses provide us with information about our body’s tone, posture and mobility.

𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲-𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠® (𝐁𝐌𝐂)

BMC is a somatic approach that engages itself towards movement patterns, reflexes and the lively interplay of different body systems, like bones, fascia, muscles, organs, fluids and the nervous system.

BMC provides anatomical and physiological studies as a base to integrate movement patterns and psychophysical aspects through movement awareness and touch facilitation.

I am artist, dancer and Body-Mind Centering® Somatic Movement Educator. I got to know BMC as part of my CI journey starting in 2005. Since then I entered an ongoing delightful learning process about movement development, reflexes, states of activity and rest, ways to relate and ways to let go.

In this Contact Improvisation workshop we will tune into the body’s capacity to navigate shifting support, unexpected pathways, and unfamiliar momentum. We’ll work with techniques and principles that challenge our sense of “upright” and widen our movement vocabulary ( rolling, folding, spiraling, falling, lifting, and being lifted). By cultivating trust in both our partners and our own sensory intelligence, we learn to welcome surprise as a partner rather than a threat.

A foundational training in contemporary osteopathic bodywork, guided by movement, precision, and shared gesture. A space of presence, embodiment, osteopathic intuition, and therapeutic poetry.

*About Wuo Tai*

Wuo Tai is a form of contemporary osteopathy, a therapeutic bodywork practice that blends structural awareness, movement, and gentle choreography.

The Articular Module is the starting point of the Wuo Tai journey.

We explore the roots of Wuo Tai: its philosophy, its essential principles, and the unique way two bodies enter into a living dialogue through a shared gesture.

We focus on reciprocal tension, the importance of a fixed point, and—above all—the dance.

*What You Will Learn*

Throughout the first module, we will learn 17 basic gestures, each with its own declinations and variations, and the principles of WuoTai.

*Two-Weekend Format*

You may join one weekend only, or take both.
Those who complete both weekends will receive a certificate that validates the First Module for the Official Wùo Taï School.

*Prices*

One weekend only: 350€ – 450€
Both weekends: 620€ – 720€

The price includes the training and all meals.
If you stay the night on Saturday: 10€ tent · 15€ dorm · 25€ private room or caravan.
