Artificial Intelligence and creative data trees in Art, Architecture, and Design.

What if data were not just numbers? What if it could become a raw material for creating objects, spaces, and immersive sensory experiences?

To explore these questions, NOVA IMS invited le_Brimet, Spectroom's Creative Director, to share ideas and concepts at the Data with Purpose Summit, an annual event dedicated to the role of data and artificial intelligence in business, public institutions, and society.

In this talk, le_Brimet will present how data can be transformed into creative and tangible forms through art, architecture, and design. By combining artificial intelligence, digital fabrication, and data visualization. Our creative Director will demonstrate how information can evolve beyond analysis and become a source of new aesthetic, spatial, and cultural experiences.

The Data with Purpose Summit 2026 will take place at Taguspark, Oeiras, in partnership with the Municipality of Oeiras, bringing together companies, researchers, students, start-ups, and decision-makers.

The program combines keynote talks, panel discussions, and applied case studies on how data is being used to improve organizations, support public decision-making, and address complex challenges—from AI and sustainability to smart cities, business innovation, and digital transformation.

The summit is designed for organizations and individuals who use data to anticipate change, support better decisions, and create long-term value for society.

at Ordem dos Arquitectos Gallery, Lisbon
From 24th June to 29th July
Opening at 6:30 pm

PROCE5SING_1.1 is an exhibition that incorporates the formal, spatial, and computational exploratory processes of the [SPECTROOM] studio-laboratory, led by le_Brimet and Shelley Barradas, where emerging digital creative paradigms, artificial intelligence, robotics, regenerative computational systems, and sustainable principles converge to create new concepts in the fields of architecture, contruction and design.

This event, a second pulse of a beta state within the creative ecosystem of [SPECTROOM], is co-organized with SRLVT. An exhibition and a talk that explore the concepts of Materialware (the application of new sustainable and recyclable materials), Software (the development of regenerative design algorithms and performance-optimization systems used in ideation and production), Hardware (the exploration of new production and materialization systems through digital fabrication), and Humanware (a reflection on the sensory impact that these new systems have on human beings).

Rooted in the principles that define SPECTROOM’s digital creative DNA, this exhibition celebrates a conceptual exploration of a new aesthetic and technique: “phygital” experimentalism. Mock-ups, videos, models, prototypes, drawings, and artefacts reveal the processes, concepts, and protocols that shape a new digitally driven creative territory- technologically oriented, yet deeply rooted in specific and contemporary socio-cultural contexts.

The Spec_Room, a space for tangible pixels, is now real.
A phygital environment where the boundaries between the digital and the physical begin to dissolve.

Born from the ambition to transform pixels into atoms, Spec_Room emerges as a new platform for experimentation at the intersection of architecture, design, technology, and material culture. Conceived as a multifunctional gallery and laboratory, the space invites new forms of exploration, dialogue, and creative exchange, embracing a future in which digital intelligence and physical experience coexist seamlessly.

Presented as part of the official programme of Lisbon Design Week, Spectroom inaugurates its new gallery in the heart of Alcântara, Lisbon. Developed in partnership with Stebler, the space has been conceived as an open framework for encounters, ideas, and interdisciplinary collaboration—bringing together designers, architects, technologists, makers, and curious minds around a shared interest in the evolving relationship between humans and technology.

At its core lies a commitment to the ethical and aesthetic humanisation of technology: a belief that innovation should not distance us from the physical world, but rather enrich our connection to it through meaningful experiences, responsible design, and thoughtful craftsmanship.

We extend our gratitude to all our partners whose support made this vision possible, and to everyone who joined us for the opening celebration. Your presence marked the beginning of a significant new chapter for Spectroom and helped bring this project to life.

With the opening of Spec_Room, Lisbon welcomes a new destination dedicated to regenerative design, robotics, artificial intelligence, and the emerging practices shaping the future of architecture and design.

The gallery is open from Monday to Friday, between 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm. We look forward to welcoming visitors, collaborators, and fellow explorers into the space.

The Spec_Room - a space for tangible pixels - is a design and architecture phygital gallery created by SPECTROOM, exploring the convergence of technology, regenerative computational systems, artificial intelligence, robotics, and sustainability through design brands, collectible objects, limited editions, and immersive installations.

The show, which inaugurates the Spec_Room Gallery - a space for tangible pixels,  reflects on the evolving relationship between material and digital processes and human experience, positioning technology as both a creative tool and a conceptual framework. Through a series of guided tours, visitors are invited to engage with the exhibition’s objects, gaining insight into le_Brimet’s interdisciplinary practice and vision. The opening event will feature a cocktail reception, fostering dialogue between creative minds, professionals, and the public. The short film The Power of IO and Everything in Between, celebrating ten years of le_Brimet’s practice, created by João Estrada, with sound design by Marcus Amadeus, will be shown for the first time at the event. Part of a city-wide program that transforms Lisbon into a hub of contemporary creativity, the exhibition contributes to an ongoing exploration of new aesthetic and ethical paradigms in contemporary design, focused on phygital creative processes.

Presented within the official Lisbon Design Week program, SPECTROOM and le_Brimet invite you to discover an immersive experience. The first exhibition at Spec_Room explores a plethora of design pieces created by SPECTROOM for a set of brands launched by the studio. This exhibition operates as a manifesto embodying a paradigm shift in the strategic relationship between designers and industry.

After several years developing brands and products for several companies, SPECTROOM’s new vision moves from working for the industry to working with the industry, taking on the role of an entrepreneurial partner in the creation, development, communication, and commercialisation of new design brands that explore new materials and production processes.

What is presented is not merely design pieces, but the result of a profound conviction that the relationship between creativity and industry must be reinvented. Each object is proof that when designers and producers work side by side, the result is more than a product - it is an idea with form, scale, and future. Innovation is achieved through collaborative work and parallel development, in pursuit of a more conscious, sustainable, and democratic design.

PROCE5SING_1.0 Exhibition

The idea of architecture as an exploratory process has been the foundation of both theoretical and practical thinking, allowing the studio’s creativity to extend into other creative fields and digital design systems. The exhibition PROCE5SING_1.0 embodies this need of the studio to experience digital exploration as a way of analysing and reflecting on contemporaneity - the act of thinking about today. It is a practice rooted in the use of new digital tools and processes beyond standard conventions. In the coming weeks, we will share images that explore models, photographies, and human interaction within our phygital universe.
