Here, we are sharing new perspectives of contemporary Portuguese Design.
CCB POR DACIANO DA COSTA, by Prof. João Paulo Martins for the Atelier Daciano da Costa.
The book "O CCB POR DACIANO DA COSTA" [“The CCB by Daciano Costa”] was launched on the 10th November, at the MAC Museum/CCB store.
At the event, Elísio Summavielle (President of the Board of Administration of the CCB Foundation), Bárbara Bulhosa (Director and Founder of the Tinta-da-China publishing house), Bárbara Coutinho (Director of MUDE – Design Museum), João Pedro Costa (President of CIAUD – The Centre for Investigation in Architecture, Urbanism and Design) an João Paulo Martins (Atelier Daciano da Costa, author of the book, architect, assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon and member of the investigation group «DHisto – Design, History and Everyday Life, at CIAUD) were present . An essential book for the proper dissemination of the works created by the father of Portuguese Design - Daciano da Costa, honouring his legacy and highlighting the vital importance of the author, in the development of the practice of Design in Portugal, within the context of interior design of a more institutional nature.
