Introducing MACS Ceramics Cowork 🏺
A new way to spend time in the studio.

MACS Ceramics Cowork is for people who already have their own ideas and projects and are looking for a space to make them happen.

Come and work independently in our shared ceramics studio, alongside a small community of fellow ceramicists. Bring your project and work at your own pace.

Choose a 12-hour package to use within 1 month or a 24-hour package to use within 2 months on the following days:
Tuesday evenings, 17:30–21:30
Saturday mornings, 09:30–13:30

✨ Shared workspace
✨ Access to shared tools
✨ Personal storage for your materials and works-in-progress
✨ Maximum 6 participants per session
✨ MACS clay and materials available to purchase

This is independent studio time, not a ceramics class, there’s no formal instruction, so come with your own projects and ideas.

🎨Watercolour & Embroidery 🧵✨

Discover a unique technique that combines watercolour painting with hand embroidery. In this workshop, we will explore how to create a watercolour illustration and enhance it with embroidery stitches.

By layering thread onto painted paper, you will learn how to introduce texture, dimension, and a subtle 3D surface to your artwork. This process blends fine art and textile techniques, allowing colours and stitches to work together to bring your piece to life.

We will start with a watercolour drawing and then add hand embroidery to highlight shapes, create texture, and give the artwork depth and character.

No previous experience is required, and all materials are included.

Guided by fashion designer, Anabela Lourenço, come spend an evening at MACS to experiment with colour, thread, and texture while creating a beautifully textured mixed-media piece.
