🧩 in - a shift in perspective
Here a share the framework emerged from my latest learning experience at the Neurotechnology Applied to Spatial Design course at Elisava School of Design and Engineering – Barcelona, led by Firàs Safieddine Firàs Safieddine.
Through different methodologies, we explored how neurotechnology can inform architectural design by working directly with sensing technologies, bio-signals, and human-centered data. Rather than viewing neuroscience as a theoretical discipline, the course emphasized practical workflows collecting physiological and environmental data, interpreting human responses to space, and transforming those observations into actionable design insights.
These studies represent my attempt to synthesize that huge ‘behind the scenes’ process into a coherent design structure (Work.In.Progress).
It connects user characteristics, spatial experience, human interactions and objective measurements into a single framework that supports evidence informed design. The aim is to continue this research and develop a dynamic grammar that hopefully will remind us that spaces actively support human homeostatic balance through the constant dialogue between measurable and perceivable conditions.
