A Corredor lança uma convocatória para a seleção de intérpretes para Respira – Pulso Germinal, uma nova criação de teatro visual e físico, com conceção e dramaturgia da artista uruguaia Rocío Matosas. O projeto parte das artes visuais, dos objetos, figurinos e dispositivos cénicos para construir, posteriormente, a dramaturgia física através do corpo e do movimento dos intérpretes.
Os artistas selecionados integrarão o processo de criação e ensaios durante setembro e ante-estreia em outubro, em Ponta Delgada, culminando na estreia do espetáculo no POP – Festival das Artes e Ofícios do Espetáculo, na sua quarta edição, em novembro de 2026.

Respira – Pulso Germinal é uma criação internacional com uma ligação particular ao Uruguai. A investigação teve início naquele país, através de uma residência apoiada pelo Programa Iberescena, e o projeto conta também com o apoio da DGARTES –Direção-Geral das Artes e do INAE – Instituto Nacional de Artes Escénicas do
Uruguai.

Corredor launches an open call for the selection of performers for Respira – Pulso Germinal, a new visual and physical theatre creation, conceived and dramaturged by Uruguayan artist Rocío Matosas. The project starts from visual arts, objects, costumes and scenographic devices, which subsequently become the basis for developing the physical dramaturgy through the performers’ bodies and movement.
The selected artists will join the creation and rehearsal process throughout September, with the preview performance in October, in Ponta Delgada, culminating in the premiere of the performance at the fourth edition of POP – Festival of Performing Arts and Stagecraft, in November 2026.
Applications are open from 24 August to 4 September.

Respira – Pulso Germinal is an international creation with a strong connection to Uruguay. The research process began there through a residency supported by the Iberescena Programme, and the project also receives support from DGARTES – Directorate-General for the Arts and INAE – National Institute of Performing Arts of Uruguay.
