Day 1: Night
Every night, Meg somehow knew they would come.
The ghosts drifted into her room as softly as moonlight. They didn’t try to scare her. They simply floated around her bed in shimmery loops, quiet as feathers.
Meg could see the room change the moment they arrived— the air felt cooler, like the first breath of winter.
She would pull the blanket up to her chin, peek with one brave eye, and wait for the ghosts to finish their nightly visit before she drifted off to sleep.

My story began where many stories could have ended.
Fresh out of my MFA in Fashion Design,
I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma—a moment that changed everything.
In the midst of pain and uncertainty, while fighting the illness, I turned inward.
I imagined the story I truly wanted to live.
Through drawing and storytelling, I found strength, healing, and a completely new beginning.

What started as small handcrafted textile dolls blossomed into an international art licensing brand: MARUSHA BELLE®.

I’ve stayed committed to the journey of storytelling—a promise I made to myself to inspire and serve others with my talents.
That purpose shines through my illustrations and the books I write, which are now ready to take their place in the world.

Remember: Your purpose isn’t what you do. It’s how you touch others through what you do.

Wow! Today is the last day of 2023! What a year! It was challenging, for sure! A lot of things to be grateful for in my personal and professional life! Thank you 2023!
This year brought also a lot of valuable professional relationships that I started building, which I look forward to continue and nurture!
I’m grateful to all my partners, including ! Thank you for doing such a great job and for your support!
This year I worked with over 10 countries including USA, Australia, China, South Africa, UK , France, Spain, Greece, Ukraine, Armenia.
I created hundreds of patterns, a collection of cards and reusable bags with TJX, a line of labels for luxury soap for a french brand, decoration for the shopping mall in Hainan and more!
2024 will reveal new collection of patterns, new collaborations with fashion brands and fashion collections. So many exciting things to come!

My 2023 kidlit in 8 favorite pieces.
This year had a lot of ups and downs. New wonderful meetings, a lot of growth in all directions, planting new seeds, gardening, letting go and a lot of things that remain unseen like the main part of the iceberg. For now, I set my goals and feed the flames of my dream with cozy times, appreciation and acknowledgment. I’m ready to move forward and embrace the new amazing year.
