Under Heat brings together ceramic works by Bárbara Penaforte shaped through a direct and physical engagement with clay.

Pressing, cutting, joining and firing become part of the works themselves, leaving gestures, traces and tensions visible across their surfaces. Moving between reliefs, vessel-like forms and sculptural arrangements, the exhibition follows matter through pressure, transformation and heat.

In Cortejo, Anthony Mazza presents a group of paintings in which landscapes, streets, and fleeting encounters re-emerge as images suspended between observation and recollection. Each work traces the passage of experience into memory, where painting becomes a space for intimacy, transformation, and quiet persistence.

On 31 July, Kolibri Gallery marks the closing of An Achingly Beautiful Melancholy with Isto é uma casa (This is a house), a live performance by Christina Elias.

Conceived in dialogue with Fabiano Senk’s Collecting Life (2024), the work extends the exhibition through the body, opening a final encounter with its visual and symbolic landscape.
