“Can I get my nostril pierced with a ring?”

Probably one of the questions we answer most often.

The short answer is “usually, no”

Not because rings are “bad”.
Not because they never work.

But because the initial jewellery should be chosen for what gives your piercing the best chance to heal comfortably and predictably.

A properly fitted implant-grade titanium labret provides greater stability during those first weeks, while a ring naturally moves and rotates with facial expressions, sleeping, cleaning and everyday life.

Once the piercing has healed and stabilized, and your anatomy allows it, changing to a ring is often a perfectly suitable option.

The goal isn’t to stop you wearing the jewellery you love.

The goal is helping you get there with a healthy, well-healed piercing.
