He walked out with an Alfamashop homemade apron — and we couldn't be happier. 😄🐟

Every square you see is a little tile pattern, printed on cotton and stitched together right here by our family, with two hand-appliquéd sardines watching over the front pocket. Azulejos have covered Lisbon's walls for centuries, telling stories in glaze and colour long before anyone thought to put them on an apron — now a piece of that story goes home with him. 🇵🇹🧵

This is what we mean when we say a real souvenir should feel like it belongs to a place, not just a postcard from one.

Our newest little treasure isn't a real pastel de nata — but it comes just as close to a Portuguese tradition. Every afternoon, families across Lisbon still pause for coffee and a pastel de nata, and now the tiniest visitors can join in the fun with their own memory game, wrapped in classic blue azulejo patterns.
