Joy, sorrow, success, and struggle are all part of being human. Rather than chasing happiness, perhaps the deeper practice is learning to cultivate contentment amidst life's changing seasons.

Heat brings out the color ✨

Just like the summer sun brings out the bright flowers, when minerals are heated to the right temp they pop 🌸

First side is fired to cone 5 with half covered by a clear glaze. Second slide is unfired.

I have been experimenting and shifting from my earthy style to a more vibrant color palette to celebrate the colors the summer sun brings 🍓

I am curious to see how this continues to shift and develop. 🌻
