InShadow - Lisbon ScreenDance Festival
The 13th edition of InShadow takes place from the 15th of November to the 15th of December 2021, in Museu da Marioneta, Teatro do Bairro, Cinamateca Portuguesa, Espaço Santa Catarina, Espaço Cultural Mercês, Cisterna da Faculdade de Belas Artes, bookshop Ler Devagar, the library of Alcântara, FNAC Chiado, Museu das Comunicações, the Note gallery and it

has a number of proposals and unpredictable encounters between cinema, dance and technology. In a year in which the number of entries increased and the quality of the films stood out, the International DOCUMENTARY Competition takes place at Museu das Comunicações from the 30th of November to December 2nd, at 11am and 3pm, with the exhibition of several film sessions that portray documentary pathways around the relationship between body and dance, technology and performance. The International Screendance Competition takes place at Teatro do Bairro from the 6th to 10th of December. pt_
De 15 de novembro a 15 de dezembro 2021, tem lugar a 13ª edição do InShadow decorre no Museu da Marioneta, Teatro do Bairro, Cinemateca Portuguesa, Espaço Santa Catarina, Espaço Cultural Mercês, Cisterna da Faculdade de Belas Artes, Livraria Ler Devagar, Biblioteca de Alcântara, FNAC Chiado, Museu das Comunicações, Galeria Note e conta com várias propostas e encontros imprevisíveis entre cinema, dança e tecnologia. Num ano em que o número de inscrições aumentou e a qualidade dos filmes fez-se notar, a Competição Internacional de DOCUMENTÁRIO decorre no Museu das Comunicações a 30 de novembro a 2 de dezembro, às 11h e às 15h, com a exibição de várias sessões de filmes que retratam percursos documentais em torno da relação do corpo com a dança, tecnologia e performance. Já a Competição Internacional de VÍDEO-DANÇA decorre no Teatro do Bairro de 6 a 10 de dezembro.

InShadow regressa de 15 de novembro a 15 de dezembro para a 14º edição, que decorre na Cinemateca Portuguesa, Espaço Cultural Mercês, Espaço Santa Catarina, Cisterna da Faculdade de Belas Artes, Biblioteca de Alcântara, Galeria Note, Teatro do Bairro e FNAC Chiado e apresenta uma diversidade de propostas e encontros entre a dança, cinema e tecnologia.

Resultado da parceria do com os , os vencedores do prémio de Melhor Realizador Nacional, e , tiveram a oportunidade de apresentar o seu trabalho DENTRO integrado no TERRITÓRIO V.
O filme foi apresentado no Teatro Municipal São João, no Porto e no Millennium Festival Ao Largo, em Lisboa. A próxima apresentação decorrerá no Teatro José Lúcio da Silva em Leiria no dia 29 de Julho pelas 21h30.

Our Story

InShadow - Lisbon ScreenDance Festival is an initiative of Vo'Arte and a reference in contemporary artistic creation and programming, with emphasis on the convergence of language between body and image, based on technology.

InShadow explores interdisciplinary atmospheres through aesthetic solutions and technical representation of body on screen, on stage and in other platforms. Gender and language intersect in video, performance, installations and exhibitions that present the vitality of a dialogue between established artists and emerging creators.

The program includes an international competition of videodance and documentary (26 to 30 Nov at Teatro do Bairro) performances (12, 13 and 15 Nov at Museu da Marioneta and Biblioteca de Marvila), a section to children and youth - LittleShadow (Museu da Marioneta and 30 Nov and 7 Dec at Cinemateca Júnior), workshops and masterclasses, as well as exhibitions and installations, that expand the Festival through the city (12 Nov to 18 Dec at Cisterna FBAUL, Appleton Square, Otoco Gallery, Espaço Santa Catarina, Espaço Cultural Mercês and Ler Devagar).

The 11th edition will be held from 12th November to 18th December 2019 in Lisbon. Museu da Marioneta, Teatro do Bairro, Cinemateca Júnior, Espaço Santa Catarina, Centro Cultural Mercês, Auditório da Biblioteca de Marvila, Cisterna FBAUL, Appleton Square, Ler Devagar and FNAC Chiado are the hosting venues of Festival InShadow.
