When I was taking those pictures, I was experiencing the excitement to catch as many details, corners and extensive views as I was able to share an adhering memory of this afternoon. It was simply a pretentious and naif attempt, because I am not an artist and my enthusiasm and interest were getting to prevail.

Therefore I selected a few focused on specific interventions. We often perceive an entirety, but if we stay longer and look at the surroundings the complexity rises.

Snapshots of a silent Sunday.

A non linear journey through movies having the city of Los Angeles as background and subject of the movies set. We can see as L.A. has been represented and also has depicted itself, assuming to be its own image. The documentary ends with a few known realistic movies by black and immigrants. From modernist villas to public transports, water channels and likely dystopian places, we can see how the changes within the society reflected in how directors let L.A. plays: as it was or as it should have appeared.
Thom Andersen's voice gives his critical points of views, which make this movie even more rich.

Final exhibition of INHABITING THE MONUMENT, 2-weeks workshop with architecture students from Barcelona, Lisbon and Thessaly within Blended Intensive Program by Erasmus+.
The complex of Convento de Cristo served them as inhabited space together with the professors, as their work place and as the main subject of the workshop. Aimed at being revitalized through the basification of the monument with new forms of conviviality and stay together, the spaces of the convent have been explored, cut up, connected within new uses and new spatial hierarchies. A new form of embodying the monument.

Drawing is the peculiar Álvaro Siza's accent to see and to act as architect. A continuum of original and copies of an immense production spanning over his entire career. From technical drawings of built and unbuilt projects to the most spontaneous sketchs originated within close companion or familiar circles. That said, I got goose bumps by flipping through his black notebooks, although are copies of the original ones.

I feel lucky, by the way.

Roof is an exhibition with pictures by Mario Cruz who started the project in 2013, after the crisis of Portugal. Since then, many people had to arrange a place to inhabit, and Cruz's pictures touches with discretion and sensitivity the people's lives. Very few exhibitions are able to create a sentiment. This one does.

Tomorrow, before getting lost in the Alfama's winding alleys go to visit this exhibition! Last day, by the way.
