Dear all,

It is very unfortunate the technical problems we had yesterday while broadcasting the 16th edition of Hafla Tarab. For that reason the online event will be postponed to next sunday, May 1st at 9 pm. My.sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have brought to you fellow dancers and audience. It is my desire foe everyone have a good experience and enjoy the show as it was programmed.

SAFIYAH (PORTUGAL)

Is a portuguese bellydance artist with 15 years experience. She creates and produces her own shows, performed in the biggest World Music Festivals in Portugal, participates in International Dance Festivals (Egypt, Turkey and UAE) as dancer and teacher and is a Member of the Internacional Dance Council by UNESCO since 2019. Safiyah is well known by her genuine and accurate technique with deep expression and musicality.

Meera grew up with both Classical Indian and Bellydance styles, and enjoys fusing elements of both styles together. She has performed and taught in over 35 countries, currently bringing a more transformative experience in her online classes, focusing of feminine empowerment through these dance styles.

Is multi instrumentalist and composer born in Barcelona, plays many stringed instruments like Sitar, Oud, saz, Lavta, robab. He just released his first solo album titled Canções de Ninguém.

MARA FUSION (PORTUGAL/UK)

Mara Fusion came after Kahina spirit.
Subsequently to the stage name, she has accepted her own name since the dancer was part of the person.
Mara dances since the age of 3, but it was at the age of 14 that she has discovered Oriental Dance.
Founder of the group Ignis Fatuus Luna, she has also made performances with the bands Moonspell, Orphaned Land, and touring several years with Myrath.
Mara currently lives in Scotland, and is investing again as a student.

ANOKHA (PORTUGAL)

Her father was a musician ( bass player), and music has accompanied her all her life. Anokha is a word in hindhi that means rare or being diferente, in other words unique. Her academic path is composed by a professional course of Communication, Marketing, PR and Advertisement, as well a BA HONS in Events Management Music and Media by London Metropolitan University. Anokha has performed both in Portugal and the UK. Furthermore, she is also a photographer and currently manages Imago Materna Photography, which is dedicated to family portrait.

Started her career in belly dancing since she was a child because her mother was already a bellydancer teacher too. Currently his work became known through instagram. She is also the founder of Shakti Studio Online, where she has been teaching online classes for 4 years. Her dance is full of spirituality, connection, technical and anatomical studies of the body.
