Poul Henningsen PH Louvre Olive Green Pendant Light Louis Poulsen Danish Vintage

This exceptional PH Louvre pendant by Poul Henningsen is a rare sculptural example of Danish lighting design at its most architectural. Developed as part of Henningsen’s lifelong exploration of glare-free illumination, the Louvre model is distinguished by its complex, tiered shade system, designed to precisely control and soften light through layered diffusion rather than concealment.

Executed here in a striking olive green lacquered metal, the pendant departs from the more commonly encountered white versions, giving it a distinctly mid-century modern presence with strong period character. While standard production favoured neutral finishes, a small number were manufactured in alternative colours—such as green, yellow, and other variants—typically for public or institutional settings (including schools), or produced as special commissions.

These colourways were never widely distributed and remain comparatively rare.
The concentric horizontal blades are carefully proportioned around a central cylindrical aluminium core, allowing light to escape gently in all directions while eliminating direct glare. When illuminated, the fixture produces a warm, atmospheric glow, with subtle reflections between the shades enhancing depth and visual rhythm.

Manufactured by Louis Poulsen in Denmark, this piece reflects the brand’s uncompromising standards of metalwork and finish. The original white ceiling canopy is present, and the lamp retains its authentic construction details, including the stamped Louis Poulsen mark, confirming originality. The form remains crisp and well balanced, with the olive green surface showing only light, age-appropriate wear consistent with careful use.

Jo Hammerborg Nova Patinated Copper Ceiling Lamp Fog & Mørup Denmark 1960s

This “Nova” ceiling lamp, designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in Denmark during the 1960s, exemplifies the sculptural precision and functional elegance that define Scandinavian modern lighting. Crafted in brushed copper with a beautifully preserved natural patina, the lamp features Hammerborg’s signature tiered construction, designed to direct light both upward and downward in perfect balance.

Its concentric copper shades are complemented by a white lacquered interior, which softly diffuses the light to create a warm, glare-free glow. The piece has been professionally rewired with new electrical components and fitted with a black cotton cable, ensuring both safety and aesthetic integrity.

Sergio Mazza Chioccio White Aluminum Chrome Table Lamp Quattrifolio 1970s Italy

A sculptural and rare lighting object, the Chioccio table lamp was designed by Sergio Mazza for Quattrifolio in the 1970s and manufactured in Rozzano, Milan. Named after the Italian word for “snail,” Chioccio is a design that wraps light in a soft, directional glow, blending minimalism with futuristic elegance.

The lamp’s construction features a cylindrical chrome-plated brass base perforated with a ring of round holes, adding subtle rhythm and ventilation. A pair of chrome rods support the dramatic, asymmetrically flared “witch hat” style aluminum shade, painted white to enhance light diffusion. The interplay between the polished base and the matte shade gives this piece its unique visual balance—elegant, playful, and boldly architectural.

Fitted with a Bakelite E27 socket, the lamp supports any standard bulb. A chromed bulb is ideal, complementing both the reflective base and the geometric purity of the overall design.

Fase Madrid Table Lamp model FLASH 69 by Tomáz Diaz Magro - 1969 Spain

Originally referred to as “Flash 69” to mark its year of creation, it later appeared in Fase catalogs simply as “Flash,” highlighting its enduring appeal.

The lamp features a swiveling and adjustable lampshade, which can be raised or lowered up to 65 cm in height by pressing the chrome button on the walnut handle. The 22 cm diameter lampshade is designed for both aesthetic and functional purposes, featuring a lengthwise opening on the top for ventilation. The Fase Madrid Model 530, commonly known as the Fase Rifle, was designed by Luis Pérez de la Oliva and dates to circa 1968. This striking lamp earned its nickname due to its resemblance to the shape of a shotgun, showcasing Fase’s flair for creating designs that are both functional and visually bold.

This model shares a strong resemblance to the Presidente S/C, utilizing the same flat, circular head and premium materials.
