This week felt good.

On Monday, we talked about emotions and turned them into drawings.

On Tuesday, we started building our Lisbon project.

The rest of the week was filled with paint on hands, endless conversations, children making each other laugh, and those small moments that remind me why I love doing this work.

Our first week at HAOS Lab Camp is over ✨

This week we built dream houses, made life-size self-portraits, explored Matisse, created wings, played Animal Charades in the park, spent a lot of time outside, ate apricots, drank lemonade, and made a surprising amount of art.

One of our favourite things about the camp is working in small groups. With no more than six children at a time, everyone gets space to participate, experiment, ask questions, and try things their own way.

Some projects took five minutes.
Some took three days.
Some changed completely halfway through.

Exactly as they should.

We’re already excited for next week.
