This year was long. This year was fast. This year was everything. And I’m still here, still creating, still feeling it all.

Shadow exists because of light, and we would not recognize light without shadow. The same is true for the flow and dance of black and white in my artwork, they only make sense together.
During these recent months, as some of you may already know, I’ve been exploring different materials and mediums, getting back to basics, to my roots, our roots, Mother earth, nature, and the shapes birthed by her magic. I’m still exploring and having fun with the process, but I truly see and feel more like myself with this approach.
Mixing my graphic design background with natural elements, blending organic flowing lines with gradients and bold strokes, this is what makes sense to me.
We are approaching a time when “man-made” will be a thing of the past, when speed is prioritized over skill, feeling, and meaning. What will be the role of an artist in the future? What will matter? I believe that as long as there is still a sense of connection between humanity and nature, there’s hope. I am because we are: Ubuntu. 🖤🤍

The Looking Project - Workshop * New dates added!

We carry distorted mirrors inside us, harsh and critical voices that whisper we’re not enough.
But what if strangers could show us a truer reflection?
In this transformative workshop, you’ll sit face-to-face with someone you’ve never met. Through simple creative exercises with paper and colored pens, you’ll explore contrasting perspectives.
The magic happens when these views meet.
The Looking Project isn’t just about art, it’s about seeing yourself as you truly are: worthy of love, especially your own.
I’ll also share insights from my own artistic journey and showcase some of my work in the studio.

There’s something honest and vulnerable about mistakes, they’re the unplanned moments where perfection cracks open and reveals something more interesting underneath. These aren’t failures, they’re invitations to see differently and find peace in the imperfect. My “Mistakes Are Beautiful” collection celebrates these moments and each piece is a reminder that creativity doesnt come from control, but from the courage to let go (recovering perfectionist here☝🏻)

Pieces available now at my online shop. Link in bio

There’s something honest about working with natural elements, letting them guide the process instead of forcing it. No plans, no pressure. Just following what feels authentic and making art for the pure joy of it. This phase is about trusting the flow and remembering why I started creating in the first place. For me, by me. 🤍

What’s stopping you from creating?

Growth isn’t always gentle, but it’s real. 🖤🤍

Sometimes, most times, less is more.
My art is evolving from intricate, detailed designs to clean, clear, and crisp patterns. I’m changing, and change is scary but good. I’m creating this for me, because I wake up eager to go to the studio and experiment with new techniques, to trace bold and daring lines on unexpected surfaces. I’m leaving my comfort zone, plain and simple. I’m discovering a new voice, a fresh approach, because if this year has taught me anything, it’s that life is too short.
This isn’t just about making art anymore; it’s about honoring the urgency I feel to express what’s truly mine. My work is becoming more essential, more honest, stripped down to what matters most (and as a reflection so am I).
In that simplicity, I’m finding a power I never knew I had. 🤍🖤
