One of those moments in my life that will stick forever.
The chance to meet such a strong, inspiring and humble human that speaks with and through his art. Being an artist is not a job or a career 🤍 it’s so much more, thank you aka king of selfies for your time, blunt honesty and overall “coolness” towards life (even the portuguese construction delays 🫣)

New calligraphy and pattern workshop (now in english)

We will be working on realising expectations of what we think we can or cannot do as creatives. We sometimes limit ourselves due to subconscious programming (or because of that school teacher from primary school that made a funny face when we showed her our picture)

We are all creative and creativity is a muscle that should be trained - So bootcamp is in session! ‼️

You will gain some understanding on how your mood and surroundings influence your creativity. 🎵

You’ll be challenged to work only with black and white, create patterns while also working with your own calligraphy inside a “restricted” space.

Usually people are amazed how good things turn out in the end, it’s a matter of trusting the process. ✨

I will also talk a bit about my experience and artistic process while showcasing some of my work in the studio.

Commissioned by the cool folks at to create a limited edition design for their tote bags that were available at the Iminente festival. RVCA was one of the official sponsors for 〰️〰️〰️

With this design I explored the RVCA type through my different styles, while trying to keep it fresh and true to what I wanted to create. I worked with my more recent abstract pattern style, handwritten and older, but always a goodie, figurative pop! (It’s great to work with brands that understand and respect the artist’s vision)

Things are weird folks. There’s a lot going on in the world and nowadays when information is so accessible and the media is everywhere all the time, (usually with the less positive stuff / fear = control), it’s easy to get sucked in. Stay strong, mindful and don’t forget to disconnect once in a while.

A HÉLDER ALFAIATE – GALERIA DE ARTE, na Ericeira, inaugura a mostra de trabalhos The Infinite Ways of Creation, da artista Vanessa Teodoro que assinala a nova fachada da Galeria executada pela artista e uma exposição com mostra de trabalhos da mesma.
Esta mostra mergulha nos mundos da ilustração, do design gráfico e da Street Art, oferecendo uma nova perspectiva sobre a obra da artista e as diversas abordagens que ela aplicou a variados suportes.
Pratos em porcelana com inscrições que foram o seu exercício gráfico durante o confinamento, as linhas secretas nos seus Skates, as suas reflexões inscritas no preto sobre preto da madeira e um trabalho de pintura e escultura que nos leva ao contacto com formas femininas intervencionadas com um registo gráfico espontâneo. The Infinite Ways of Creation evidencia a versatilidade da artista, que desafia a sua zona de conforto para construir um portfólio mais rico e diversificado, revelando inúmeras possibilidades criativas, ou por outras palavras, infinitas formas de criação.

“The infinite ways of creation” • Is a new exhibition that will showcase some of my most recent artworks, as well as a journey through some of the different approaches and techniques that I’ve been exploring during these most recent years. Inspired by my background in graphic design, illustration and street art, this show reflects on the infinite possibilites that are available to the creative mind. As an artist, my aim is to challenge my comfort zone and keep diversifying my work, while trying to keep it fresh and meaningful in a world that can be so overstimulated as overwhelming.
