Opening our studios at Taguspark to the public tomorrow 28/8 until 31/8!!

This is not a typical art exhibition, rather a special access to see one space in which 9 artists have been creating new ideas and conjuring things out of nothing in the past 4 months. It’s a rare chance to see how art is made with all the mess and unfinished stories we are willing to tell you… The REAL behind the scenes. ✨

This might feel familiar…

There are words that stay with you.

Sometimes because of what they meant when they were spoken.

Sometimes because of everything that happened afterwards.

This piece “This is just the beginning” began somewhere in that space - between memory and letting go, between heartbreak and hope, between holding on and finally understanding that some things cannot be held forever.

The sadness.
The tenderness.
The questions.
The hope…

The beautiful things that were real, even if they didn’t last in the way we imagined.

Perhaps that is what a beginning really is.

Not forgetting what came before. But carrying its meaning with you, and still choosing to walk towards whatever comes next.

This is just the beginning.

🚨 🚨 BIG NEWS!!

OPEN STUDIOS

For the past four months, we’ve been creating, experimenting and discovering new ways of making art in a new environment. Now, we’re opening the studio doors for four days to everyone curious to see what has been happening inside our art residency.

From 28 to 31 August, our studios at Taguspark will be open to the public.

Come visit us and discover new work in painting, sculpture, photography and more - and get a glimpse into the creative process behind it.

On 30 August, join us for a SPECIAL AFTERNOON with food, drinks, music - and, of course, our art.

Almost there…

Just a couple more weeks in the studio before my art residency comes to an end.

The work is still unfolding - some pieces are raw, unfinished, somewhere between intuition and intention.

A little glimpse behind the scenes before we open the studio doors at the end of the month. ✨

A few close-ups of the new pieces I’ve been creating during my art residency at Taguspark.

These paintings have quietly become the ending of some chapters and the beginning of others. ❤️

There is softness in them that wasn’t there before. A kind of gentleness that only arrived after I stopped fighting what needed to end and started trusting what was finding its way in.

They hold depth without heaviness. Strength without armour. Space where uncertainty used to live.

I think that’s what growth often looks like. Not dramatic. Not loud. Just a slow return to yourself.

I’m looking forward to sharing the finished works with you soon. 🫶🏻

I once read a quote I’ll never forget…

“All creative art is magic... the science of manipulating symbols, words or images, to achieve changes in consciousness.” Alan Moore

Describing art as a form of modern shamanism feels right - we artists create new realities out of thin air, and change or influence the way people perceive themselves and their world.

If this isn’t magic, I don’t know what is… ✨
