Passado um ano desde a apresentação da FITA Magazine - Floating Waters ✨🌊 no Pavilhão de Portugal () na Expo 2025 Osaka (), vamos celebrar com uma sessão de reencontro na Feira do Livro de Lisboa (), na a Praça Azul, dia 10 de Junho, às 19h00. 💙

Vamos ter a honra de contar com a participação da Joana Gomes Cardoso, Comissária do Pavilhão de Portugal 🇵🇹 na Expo 2025 Osaka, da Filipa Oliveira, Diretora do Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea (.oficial), e da Graça Mendes Pinto, Diretora do Museu do Oriente (). 💫 Também teremos a oportunidade de ouvir o poeta e cantor Zé Bernardo da Fonseca, que nos traz a sua interpretação de música tradicional e novos poemas, fazendo a ponte 🌁 entre Portugal e o Japão.

Esperamos por todos neste reencontro com o Japão 🇯🇵 , de que já tínhamos muitas saudades!

Na primeira edição da 📚 que a FITA - marcou presença, em 2022, tivemos a enorme alegria de entregar os International FITA Awards of Literature 💫✨ a 5 talentosos escritores nas áreas de Conto, Crónica, Poesia, Ensaio e Teatro, com a . Os vencedores 🏆 continuam a demonstrar o seu testemunho artístico todos os dias em território nacional e internacional.

No ano seguinte, em 2023, a 🎥📺 visitou o nosso Pavilhão, onde tivemos a oportunidade de falar sobre o papel da FITA Magazine 📒 , revista de artes e cultura internacional, para a diplomacia cultural.

Este ano, contamos contigo para mais aventuras entre as estantes de livros e a descoberta de novos escritores. 📑✍️

It was an absolute honor to attend 🖼️✨ traditional party during the ‘s preview week and witness Director Karole Vail’s reaction 😍💫 upon discovering the latest volume of FITA Magazine - Floating Waters.

📒🥹 We were especially touched to learn that the publication is now part of the Director’s collection.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection 🛶🌊 was featured in the first volume of FITA Magazine - Invisible Atlas (2021), contributing both remarkable artworks collected by Peggy Guggenheim 🕶️ and its distinguished Fellowship Program, an exceptional iniciative within the art world.

🗃️🗄️ The volume remains available for consultation and research at the Museum Library, continuing to foster new dialogues between contemporary artistic practices and cultural memory.

Hoje, Dia da Terra 🌍✨, anunciamos pela primeira vez a exposição SONS DA TERRA, com obras de arte de Jéssica Burrinha () & Mikha-ez (.ez), e curadoria de Francisca Gigante () & Francisco Teles da Gama ().

🌾 SONS DA TERRA terá lugar de 5 de junho a 3 de julho de 2026 na Casa do Jardim da Estrela (), em Lisboa.

Encontra-se integrada no Programa Arte em Portugal 💫 da ARCO Lisboa ().

SONS DA TERRA nasce da escuta do território para propor diálogos entre as sonoridades da terra 🍃 e o insondável silêncio do espaço, numa vibração partilhada entre práticas contemporâneas e ecologias sensíveis.

🌻🟥 Através das obras de arte pensadas e produzidas para este lugar híbrido, pelos artistas Jéssica Burrinha & Mikha-ez, SONS DA TERRA convida a uma reflexão profunda sobre a Terra que habitamos no espaço e os sons partilhados. 🟩🌻

🔊 “Numa perspetiva ecológica e relacional, o som torna-se aqui um meio privilegiado de relação com o outro, com os outros. A polifonia resgata um arquivo vivo transespécie, transhistórico. (…)

Grateful to receive the invitation for the exhibition BY THE MEANS AT HAND by Vlatka Horvat () / Croatian Pavilion Venice Biennale 2024 ( ) in the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (), where the artwork The Banquet of Eternity, created by Francisca Gigante () & Francisco Teles da Gama () took part in the artistic exchange. 🤝💫

Donated to the Collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, the exhibition curated by Ana Skegro () and Morana Matkovic can be visited from 24 March until 21 June 2026.

FITA Agency, Mariana Duarte Santos 🎥🎞️

We are very pleased to welcome Mariana Duarte Santos () to the FITA Agency! ❤️🫂 It is a privilege to begin working together.

Born in Lisbon in 1995, Mariana Duarte Santos is a figurative artist whose practice moves between painting, drawing, printmaking, and public art. ☎️

🏙️ Since 2019, she has completed more than 80 murals across Portugal, Spain, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, and the United States, creating images that inhabit architecture and public space with a quiet, cinematic presence.

Her studio work draws strongly from cinema and literature, unfolding through carefully composed scenes that feel paused in time, as if extracted from a film still. These works often explore intimacy, distance, and ambiguity through restrained gestures and tonal atmospheres. 🗞️

📸 In the public realm, her practice engages with memory, collective identity, and local history. Working frequently from archival photographs, Mariana transforms documentary material into images that resist fixed narratives, inviting viewers to project their own readings and emotions.

One of her murals is permanently located at Museu de Lisboa - Palácio Pimenta () . 🌿🔍

Currently, Duarte Santos’ work is on view in Calafrio / Shiver at MNAC - Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea (.oficial) (26 February – 10 May 2026), including The Room (2025), a work that reflects her interest in suspension, silence, and photographic framing. 🖼️💫

FITA Agency, Sebastião Castelo Lopes 🩶🌪️

We’re very excited to welcome the contemporary artist Sebastião Castelo Lopes () to the FITA family. Welcome to FITA Agency, dear Sebastião! 🕯️

With a research-driven practice, consistent exhibition trajectory in Portugal, Spain, the UK, Italy, Hungary, Morocco and India, and strong academic background holding a PhD in Drawing from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (), Sebastião Castelo Lopes approaches drawing as a way of thinking about place, presence and balance. 📐

Building upon classical draftsmanship, symbolic and historical motifs, and a profoundly layered understanding of form and gesture, Sebastião Castelo Lopes’ distinctive style is evident in his contemporary art drawing, a dynamic interplay of poetry and literary references as well as subtle traces. 🪶

🪟 Castelo Lopes has continually explored the space between presence and absence throughout his practice. Characteristically, his works evoke tension and rhythm, an archive of the palimpsest, as though each line carries the memory of its own creation and erasure.

Symbols and fragments of literature emerge, disappear, and reappear across the work, tracing the passage of time and inviting the viewer into a contemplative dialogue with both the artist and themselves. 🔥

His work is included in public and private collections, notably the Municipality of Loures (), the Budapest History Museum, the Millennium BCP Foundation (), and the Cascais Cultural Center (), and he was honored with the Acquisition Award Millennium BCP in Drawing Room Lisbon 2019 (). 🗃️🏆

We’re thrilled to begin this journey together.
