Throwback to Inktober Challenge 2023 – Day 5: PATH

The Arapaima is fascinating because its scales have a unique structure that naturally resembles a topographical map. For the prompt "Path," I wanted to highlight those winding contour lines across its body, turning the creature itself into a map of living paths set against a starry void.

Note: this is an artistic interpretation emphasizing the map-like texture of the scales rather than a strict biological study.

Throwback Inktober Challenge 2023 – Day 2: “Spiders” 🕷️

For this prompt, I took a little creative detour beneath the waves — meet the Great Weever, also known here in Portugal as the Spiderfish. 🐟✨
Drawn in ballpoint pen and ink — nature’s own underwater spider.

Note: this is not an anatomically accurate study, but an artistic interpretation inspired by the Great Weever.
