A new single has just been released.

Safari Zone just released "Intergalactic Jazz Club," the first single from their debut album 1420.fm, which we are working on together. The track is about standing still while everything else moves, exploring the tension between comfort and the need for change. It's the kind of song that finds you.

The song was co-produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered at Sound Pressure Studios by Leopoldo Lopes, Sílvia Graça, and Patrícia Rosa.

We’re proud to be part of this journey, and there's much more to come.

We’re proud to have played a part in Inna Modja’s return to music.

"I Got You" (feat. Waje) came out on February 27th. The song is about resilience, love, and finding your way back to yourself.

We were honored to record Inna’s vocals at Sound Pressure Studios and to handle the mixing and mastering for this powerful Desert Blues track from the Sahel.

This song is part of the original soundtrack for The Great Green Wall film. It earned Inna a nomination for Film Music Composer at the Jackson Wild Awards, alongside Hans Zimmer.

In the Studio with BERISH

We're almost finished producing BERISH's debut single. The track mixes pop, rock, and electronic sounds with strong Middle Eastern influences. Her music tells her story: born in Germany, Kurdish roots from Turkey, and now living in Lisbon.

Working with BERISH has truly been a team effort. She knows what she wants, has a beautiful voice, and brings an openness that makes creating together easy. This single is just the start; her full EP will come out later this year.

Projects like this remind us why we built Sound Pressure Studios the way we did. We want to support artists who offer something genuine, complex, and hard to put in a single box.

The lead single from the “Echo” EP is out now, and it starts with purpose.

THIS IS LUCAS brings a fresh take on alternative rock, blending electronic sounds with guitar energy. Influences include Muse, Placebo, and other bold voices in the genre. The full EP has six tracks, and this is your starting point.

We co-produced this record with the artist and managed the entire studio process: recording, mixing, and mastering. Our aim was to keep the sound clear but still gritty, and to create space without losing energy.

F16/125 marks the beginning. Echo is coming soon.

Something special happens when tradition faces a new challenge.

Looking back at this amazing Fado session in the studio, it was inspiring to see Henrique Leitão’s (.henrique) skill on the Portuguese guitar alongside Filipa Ferreira’s (.pferreira) powerful voice. Together, they created a true lesson in musical texture and emotion.

The best part was watching Gonçalo Quintas () take on the challenge of playing Fado rhythm guitar for the first time. Moments like these, when creativity is pushed, often lead to the most genuine music.

This was all filmed for a special documentary by for (Music Ain’t Nothing But A Passion), which will be released later this year.

We know many are missing here.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Evelina Hodova to Sound Pressure Studios — a powerful Ukrainian singer with an incredible presence and a truly unique energy.

Evelina came in to record her song for her Eurovision participation, and from the very first take the synergy in the room was undeniable.

Her voice, her emotion, and her connection to the music filled the studio in a way that stayed with us long after the session ended.
She has that rare blend of rock intensity and pop clarity, and it’s exciting to imagine where her sound will go next.

We hope to hear more from Evelina in the future — new songs, new stories, and hopefully more moments together in the studio.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of having Ricardo, former drummer of Theriomorphic (1997–2002), in the studio.
If you know your underground Portuguese metal history, you’ll remember him from “The Human Masquerade” demo (2000) — raw, powerful, and unmistakably old-school.

And the vibe?
Still exactly the same today.
Heavy groove, solid attitude, super friendly, and carrying that old-school spirit that just makes the room feel alive.

He came in to record drums for a personal project, and honestly… we loved working with him.
It’s always an honor to welcome musicians with so much history, passion, and genuine good energy.

Respect to you, Ricardo — our doors are always open. 🤘🔥

On December 12th, 2000, Xzibit released Restless — an album that left a serious mark on West Coast hip-hop.

Produced by a dream team including Dr. Dre, DJ Quik, Eminem, Battlecat, Scott Storch, Nottz, and many others, it became one of the defining records of its time.

What makes this one extra special for us at Sound Pressure Studios is that our CEO & Senior Producer, Leopoldo Lopes, was actually part of the production team, assisting in both the production and mixing process.

A huge experience, a wild learning environment, and definitely something that helped shape the standards and mindset we carry into our studio today.

It’s always inspiring to look back at moments like these — reminders of where the journey started and how far it's come.
