FEST - New Directors | New Films Festival is an international film festival that offers 200 films and 50 film industry activities: Training Ground (workshops, masterclasses); Pitching Forum (film project competition); Directors Hub (debates, roundtables and case studies) and more. At the last edition of FEST, we hosted a live recording of “Filming in Portugal: See the Big Picture”, the Portugal Film Commission podcast, and the episode is now online.

“In this episode, "Producers are like water.” Martin Dale sits down with Paul Miller, an international producer and consultant whose career has spanned the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, and who joined us as a guest at this year’s FEST.

Recorded in Espinho, this second episode of the podcast’s third season explores Paul Miller’s reflections on the role of the producer and the many different paths to bringing a project to life.

Devido às previsões meteorológicas, a sessão de Espinho tem uma nova data e passará a realizar-se no dia 3 de setembro, às 21h30, tornando-se a última das duas sessões finais de cinema ao ar livre nas freguesias.

A sessão de Guetim mantém-se sem qualquer alteração. Próxima sexta-feira, 28 agosto, no Largo da Igreja, às 21h30 exibimos o filme "Benzinho"!

As sessões são ar livre e gratuitas, não sendo necessárias reservas.

THIS WAS FEST!

It’s hard to believe that almost a week has already passed since the incredible week we shared in Espinho!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, filmmakers, actors, industry professionals, cinephiles, and FEST lovers. We hope you enjoyed a week filled with inspiring conversations, meaningful connections, valuable learning experiences, plenty of fun, and, of course, lots and lots of cinema.
