Há momentos que ficam para a História:
A entrega do catálogo da Biennale dela Riviera Romana ao Papa Leão XIV, pelas mãos da Margherita Frappa , presidente da Biennale, foi um deles.
Quando recebi esta notícia da curadora Ana Carolina de Villanueva da , estava em Roma com a minha mãe. Mais precisamente na lindíssima Arquibasílica de S.João de Latrão.
Soubemos as duas juntas. Num momento que pensávamos ser só nosso.
Mas talvez não.
Porque, naquele instante, a Ana Alzira irmã, e a “Ana Alzira” obra, estavam também presentes na Basílica de S.Pedro.
Há coincidências que não se conseguem explicar.
“Ana Alzira” é uma obra feita em homenagem à minha irmã, que nunca conheci, e a presença da minha mãe é sempre o elo mais importante.
De diferentes formas, estavam as minhas duas avós, a minha mãe, a minha irmã e eu presentes ao mesmo tempo ♥️

There are moments that stay in history:
The delivery of the Rome Biennale catalogue to the Pope Leo XIV, through Margherita Frappa hands, president of the Biennal, was one of them.
When I received this news from curator Ana Carolina de Villanueva from , I was in Rome with my mother. More precisely, at the beautiful Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran.
We found out together. In a moment we thought belonged only to us.
But maybe not.
Because, at the exact moment, Ana Alzira the sister, and “Ana Alzira” the artwork, were also present at Saint Peter’s Basilica.
There are coincidences that cannot be explained.
“Ana Alzira” is a work in tribute to my sister, whom I never got to know, and my mother’s presence is always the most important connection.
In different ways, my two grandmothers, my mother, my sister and I, were all present at the same time ♥️
Acabei de receber o catálogo pelas mãos da Ana Carolina de Villanueva que tornou isto tudo possível 🙏🏼
