Rehearsals are officially underway for ALICE IN WONDERLAND, and Wonderland is already proving to be wonderfully bonkers! 🎭🎩

The cast are having a fantastic time bringing this magical story to life, with plenty of laughter, dancing and a little bit of madness along the way! ♥️♣️♦️

🎭 35 Years of The Algarveans! 🎉

This September marks 35 years of community theatre in the Algarve! It all started in 1991 with a handful of dreamers gathering in a sitting room in Lagoa, and one founding member, Alison Greening, is still with us today!

22 pantomimes. Countless comedies, thrillers, and musicals — from Gaslight to Sister Act to The Wizard of Oz and most recently ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change!’ All powered by an army of volunteers over the years who have painted sets in barns, sewn costumes by hand, and learnt 1000s of lines.

Now, 35 years on, we're coming a full circle: Alice in Wonderland hits the stage 19-21 November in Lagoa, directed by Frank Remiatte. 🐰🎩
