We had such a wonderful afternoon at Palco in the CCC. The big band played brilliantly after just a few days of rehearsals.
Many thanks to the musicians, and especially to Loet van der Lee and Dirk Van Eck for organising this fantastic event.

Even the Dutch Embassy has announced on its page that a Play Jazz Summer School is to take place in Caldas de Rainha. The programme includes a number of rehearsals, followed by a number of performances. And guess what… the final performance, on 15 August, will take place at Mais Jazz in the Palco/CCC.

Tahina Rahary is a regular guest musician of Mais Jazz. He is a great artist with many talents. This concert at Mais Jazz he played tribute to his roots: Tahina was born in Madagaskar. So he brought his Tahina Rahary Malagasy Roots to the Centro Cultural e Congressos das Caldas da Rainha. Thanks for a great gig!

The repertoire is made up entirely of original compositions by Tahina Rahary, reflecting a strong musical identity and a cohesive creative vision where tradition and modernity blend naturally.
