Despite our ensemble navigating nearby wildfires, a wasp bite, heat stroke, and sudden explosive diarrhea we're still feelin sweet on each other after two weeks of devising. Bouffon love!

Y'all nothing screams WE'VE MADE IT more than walking through the center of Braga, Portugal, where we're spending 5-weeks building a new show, and finding this golden arched beacon of grotesque success right next to a 500 year old cathedral.

Obviously we posed in front of the more impressive of the two.

Blast from the past: The amazing posing outside of San Francisco City Hall during 2009. This was a marketing photo for Naked Empire's debut show, "Shame!" The show had an all-q***r ensemble and creative team and satirized hypocrisy and toxicity within the Bay Area q***r community. Who knew we'd still be going strong 16 years later!

“How to Catch a Karen” won runner-up to Best of the Fest at Vancouver Fringe 2024! This is the second Naked Empire Bouffon show to win an award at VanFringe. Thank you for the recognition of our work, and we had an excellent time sharing this show with Canadian audiences! Baba Yaga loved to challenge and eat…er…we mean vibe, with the Karens she caught!
