Semibreve is a exploratory electronic music and digital art festival taking place in Braga, Portugal. Since 2011 Semibreve has consistently presented a forward-thinking programme featuring some of the most revered electronic music and cross-disciplinary work by artists from around the world, as well as maintaining an active role in the promotion of the digital arts in Portugal. Semibreve prides it

self on curating a carefully-considered programme that is challenging and accessible. Semibreve’s emphasis on its stunning site-specific locations and world-class venues, together with a shared ethos centred around inclusiveness and community, by promoting a diverse programme at an affordable ticket price, has brought about sold-out events and well-deserved international acclaim.

Semibreve closes the performance programme for its 2026 edition with a final wave of confirmations spanning commissioned works, world premieres, live performances and exploratory club culture.

Newly announced artists include Nuno Canavarro & Bruno Miguel Pinto with “/Radiant Rift”, Marta Salogni presenting “a,drift”, a commissioned work by Semibreve, Berlin Atonal and Unsound), Ricardo Jacinto with the world premiere of “Manto”, Suzan Peeters performing “Cassotto”, System Sophie with the premiere of “Carbolines”, Peder Mannerfelt B2B RONI, Flora Yin-Wong and Dawn Dani.

Full festival passes are now sold out, but it is still possible to experience the full festival through a combination of Theatro Circo passes and gnration day tickets, both on sale. Daily tickets for performances at Theatro Circo will be on sale today.

Premiered in February this year at the Berliner Philharmoniker, SEMIBREVE 2026 ○ ˉ will host the second presentation of Saffron on Grey, a new collaboration between composer and conductor Oscar Jockel and Austrian producer and guitarist Christian Fennesz. The performance features a 12-piece ensemble and a specially designed light setup.

Estreado em Fevereiro deste ano na Berliner Philharmoniker, o Semibreve acolherá a segunda apresentação de Saffron on Grey, a nova colaboração entre o compositor e maestro Oscar Jockel e o produtor e guitarrista austríaco Christian Fennesz. From October 22 to 25, the historic city of Braga will host Fennesz & Oscar Jockel (performing live together for the second time), Sam Slater & Guests, PYUR & Tarik Barri (world premiere), Qasim Naqvi & Steven Wendt (world premiere), Noémi Büchi, Malcolm Pardon & Gustaf Broms (world premiere), TYGAPAW, Azu Tiwaline, and João Carlos Pinto (world premiere). A programme unfolding across multiple venues in Braga that will also include installations, talks, workshops, and cinema. More programme announcements coming soon.
