Mais do que um método fechado, afirma-se como uma prática aberta, onde criar é também repensar funções, usos e responsabilidades, num diálogo contínuo entre arte, matéria e mundo.

🌟 Are you between 18-24 years old and ready to transform your life and the lives of others? Here is your chance! 🌟

🤝 We invite you to participate in our Youth Exchange "THE BODY PROJECT" in the beautiful city of Hondarribia from 21 to 29 November 2023 together with 36 other participants from 6 countries.
Our goal is to promote mental wellness and a positive body image among young people who are facing serious challenges of being overweight and/or obesity, or who have in their network people who have experienced this situation. 🤝

🌐 We are looking for 4 enthusiastic young people (Portuguese or residents in Portugal).🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
Join this transformative journey. The scholarship covers your travel, lodging and food expenses in the picturesque city of Hondarribia. Plus, you’ll receive a Youthpass Certificate and access a new network of contacts to support you on your journey to wellness. 🌐

Participants from Latvia 🇱🇻, Portugal 🇵🇹, Romania 🇷🇴 andTurkey 🇹🇷 took a part in an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Think.Eat.Compost it | Behavior change'' which was held in Terceira island, Azores, 20 - 28 May, 2022.
🌍 The project aims to explore contemporary problem that is common across Europe and needs to be tackled: food waste and the treatment of biodegradable waste. It is estimated that in Europe around 88 million tonnes of food is wasted annually. This does not only represent an economic or ethical problem, but also a serious environmental problem by the unnecessary expenditure of limited natural resources. All of us, from the producer to the final consumer, have the responsibility to take a stand in this struggle. Thus, this project aims to create a space for debate, reflection, analysis of our actions and the communities where we live and a search for solutions that are within everyone's reach, thus changing behavioral patterns. Another proposal of the project is the treatment of biodegradable waste, avoiding that about half the rubbish we produce ends up in landfills. In this sense, it will be carried out the design and construction of a compost.
🇪🇺 The project was financed with the support of the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme.

📍Dando continuidade à divulgação de artistas contemporâneos, o Instituto Açoriano de Cultura inaugura a exposição "wrapped entities", do artista Paulo Ávila Sousa, no dia 1 de outubro, pelas 18h30, na sua galeria.

Esta exposição explora a dualidade da fusão de objetos orgânicos e não orgânicos, colocando a questão da possibilidade, entre tantas outras, de unificação da matéria, de simbioses entre vida e não vida.
