For our latest collaboration with Belgian artist Sophie Whettnall, we created a series of leather laptop bags featuring one of her drawings, inspired by the natural grain of wood.

Embossed directly into the leather, the drawing appears and disappears with light and movement.

Working across drawing, sculpture, video and installation, her practice draws attention to what we often overlook: the grain of wood, the movement of a shadow, the way light changes a surface.

Every collaboration begins with a conversation. Sometimes, it also leads us to a place.

Six years ago, a sailing trip brought Bosco Sodi to Folegandros. He planned to stay for one night and ended up buying land. Today, the island is home to his family’s house and studio.
