༄ new 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 made with little pieces of 𝘾𝙤𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙨, all handpicked from the beaches of Portugal. 🐚💜🇵🇹

Every time I find little pieces of these 𝘾𝙤𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙖 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙨 or 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙡 𝙎𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙨, I put them in a box to eventually make coastal wall art with them.

This 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 will be available on markets ~ next will be this Sunday 31st at 𝗔𝗿𝘁'𝗴𝘂𝗱𝗼 in Ferragudo.

༄ 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙨𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙖𝙣 ~ In Portugal these shells are called “𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙟𝙞𝙣𝙝𝙤𝙨”, which means kisses. 🐚💋

These tiny shells are the tiniest cowries species you can find and they are called 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘄𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀.

This is about the maximum size of what these 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘄𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 species can get, so they stay very tiny.

𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘄𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 are not only very hard to spot because of their size but also their camouflage colors.

And not only that, these 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘄𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 are very unique to find on beaches in the south of Portugal.

So every time if find one of these ‘𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙟𝙞𝙣𝙝𝙤𝙨’, I feel very lucky and I’m thankful to the ocean for creating such a tiny treasure. 😍🐚
