Por aqui, não nos cansamos de realçar a importância de cada ser para o equilíbrio dos ecossistemas. Hoje celebra-se o Dia Mundial das Abelhas 🐝
No Montado, as árvores oferecem pólen, sombra e um microclima estável às colmeias. Em troca, as abelhas desempenham um papel essencial na regeneração da paisagem e na preservação da biodiversidade.
Mas as alterações climáticas estão a perturbar o ciclo natural das abelhas e a reduzir o seu alimento. A poluição dos solos e da água, bem como a introdução de espécies exóticas, agravam ainda mais este cenário, contribuindo para o declínio alarmante dos polinizadores.
🌿A sobrevivência das abelhas depende da manutenção de práticas agrícolas sustentáveis, do respeito pelo equilíbrio ecológico e da preservação das espécies nativas.

In the Montado, the trees provide pollen, shade and a stable microclimate for the hives. In return, bees play an essential role in the regeneration of the landscape and the preservation of biodiversity.
But climate change is disrupting the bees’ natural cycle and reducing their food supply. Soil and water pollution, as well as the introduction of exotic species, further exacerbate this situation, contributing to the alarming decline in pollinators.
🌿The survival of bees depends on maintaining sustainable agricultural practices, respecting the ecological balance and preserving native species.
