International Networking of Folk Festivals (IN-Folks) born by the necessity of sharing resources and experiences between associations of different European countries with common interests and goals, being an instrument for spreading the traditional music and dance. Folk Music Festivals are important agents for spreading the culture, creating spaces to promote new emergent projects, recovering the use of traditional instruments amongst young musicians, promoting folk music bands at an international level and supporting the transmission of music and dance at an intergenerational level.
