"Kan YaMa kan" which mean once upon a time in English language is the first of its kind "kids world"
addressing the needs of Arabic speaking children through entertainment, educational , psychological,
and interactivity. In light of having more than 125 million Arab users and 22 million smart devices in the Arab region, yet
the Arabic content is less than 3%. In addition, strange cultures penetrat
ed the Arab region and
produced distorted behaviors
Our application “Kan YaMa kan” targets young kids in general; especially those between 2-3 years
(toddlers) and those between 4-6 years (preschoolers).
“Kan YaMa Kan” application will include a collection of modern and traditional moral stories that are
distinguished for having a large degree of interactivity and animation. In addition, it will help kids to do
their own adventures by trying multi ends for the same story according to choose good or bad behavior,
also it will avail a wide range of entertainment content including coloring, rhymes, and games. As a world that combines fun and education. Such stories’ main characteristic is in remedying children’s
behavior by providing them with a safe environment and helping them in making their decisions. The
children, through such stories, are capable of reaching different conclusions on the stories they read
and make the necessary decisions by interacting with the characters and choosing either positive or
negative behavior of the main character; and therefore, bearing the consequences for such decision. Kan YaMa Kan content will be updated regularly in cooperation with local and international experts in
the fields of children literature (writers, artists, etc) and early learning (educational experts and
language specialists, etc). It will also allow content developers such as artists, designers, writers,
developers and others to avail their creativity via Kan YaMa Kan App. It will also allow the kids
themselves to participate in enriching Kan YaMa Kan's content either as individuals or as groups
through early educational institutions such as kindergartens and nurseries. With such a meticulous care for quality, we aim to raise the standard of children within this region by
engaging them with a higher level of visuals, concepts and information. It aims to elevate their wit,
imagination and discovery by revealing to them entertainment beyond the literal and beyond their
expectations.
