Happy Mothers Day to women in all walks of motherhood!!!
I recently painted a portrait for a client wanting a tribute to her mother. She sent me her mothers photo- a classic, movie star beauty. Her mother was a devoted Catholic, and felt a deep connection to the Virgen del Perpetuo Socorro, Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
The result is a combination of her mother’s angelic likeness and the symbolism of her faith.
Not my usual type of commission in some ways- but exactly it in other ways.
I love hearing your stories of love and connection- and and honored to represent that soulful depth in my work ❤️‍🔥

I’m a pet portrait artist who fell in love island life 🌴🇵🇷🌺

Every animal deserves their “happily ever after”.
The soft beds, the daily routines, the feeling of being safe and healthy- the kind of life so many animal welfare non profits are working hard to create.
But for some dogs, that journey includes something even harder… a cancer diagnosis.
I’m honored to have created the artwork for ’s 10th anniversary celebration. LLR supports dogs and their families during the darkest days of cancer diagnosis.
To me this piece is more than just art—it’s a small way to be part of something bigger 🤍
