1. This was never the plan.. performing, I mean. I was a single mother, and loved to do yoga, but couldn’t afford classes. When I started teaching myself, I got creative and was asked to start performing in shows - now we’re here, and it’s fully intentional.
2. I lived in a tiny apartment with my babies for seven years, with no bedroom of my own - just scraping by. Circus and sideshow gave us a new life.
3. I just put myself through school and earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & IT - mostly so my kids could see it happen.
4. I cry when I see other people do things that make themselves proud. I cry at the happy points in movies, I cry at my kids, my dogs, you get it.
5. I’m in physical pain most days. Some days are harder than others.
6. I used to want to be a tattooer, but I think I just like making art in general. It’s for me.
7. I’ve created my own family, and I value them more than they know. I think of them all the time.
