What is the strangest thing you have witnessed during a thunderstorm? I have several, but I'll show you the strangest one that I captured during the night of August 14, 2024, when I was recording a storm approaching from Austria. Right next to the storm, a red spot appeared and slowly began to grow larger. It either stayed on one place or slowly moved to the side, leaving a red "tail" behind. It changed different shapes. Once it was 2 balls that slowly rotated around each other, then it merged together. After about 6-8 minutes it completely disappeared, then it reappeared for a while and seemed closer. To be honest, I was pretty scared because I didn't know what it was and never seen anything like that before 🙂 During night In the middle of nowhere, right next to a huge storm. I never share it anywhere or asked anyone but maybe you'll know what it was 🙂
I'm not saying automatically that it is UFO, but I know there are many people here who know our sky better than me so maybe I can find the answer
