In “Derrière la chambre fraise,” I wanted to capture a moment of feminine intimacy — quiet, soft, and full of suggestion. The woman is hidden behind a patterned screen; we only see her head and the dresses hanging over the edge. This scene reflects the sensual rituals of un******ng, the beauty of what remains unseen. Inspired by Matisse and the early 20th century, I use a warm, strawberry-colored palette and decorative elements to evoke southern elegance and emotional stillness. For me, this work is about presence through absence — and the private poetry of a woman’s world.

A Dialogue with Art is a triptych that explores the intersection of classical artistic heritage and the quiet immediacy of the present. The presence of sculptures, musical instruments and empty chairs evokes an aura of an ‘ideal past’ - a world shaped by beauty, memory and cultural ideals. These static objects seem to belong to a timeless scene, illuminated as if suspended between history and imagination.
