Minyoung Lee (Wheelers) to artystka cyrkowa z Korei Południowej. Po ukończeniu szkoły teatralnej na wydziale aktorskim i pracy w teatrze, zaczęła ćwiczyć sztuki cyrkowe w wieku 30 lat. Większość wykonawców rozpoczyna wymagające dyscypliny cyrkowe, zwłaszcza akrobatykę, w młodym wieku, Minyoung podjęła wyzwanie, by przezwyciężyć ograniczenia własnego ciała.
Wywodząc się ze środowiska teatralnego, Minyoung skupia się na tworzeniu pokazów opartych na fabule, które wykraczają poza samą prezentację umiejętności technicznych, np. akrobacji w kole Cyra czy na maszcie chińskim.
Artystka każdej zimy spędza około dwóch miesięcy na podróżach do krajów takich jak Stany Zjednoczone, Tajwan, Japonia i Hiszpania, gdzie nawiązuje kontakty z performerami i poznaje różne kultury i podejścia do cyrku.
Na festiwalu Busker Tour 2026 Minyoung Lee zaprezentuje swój nowy pokaz „The Creaky Clown”, który łączy teatr lalek z cyrkiem, w tym z akrobatyką na maszcie. To historia nieśmiałego i strasznego szkieletu, który ciągle gubi gałki oczne i zmaga się z codziennym życiem. Bohater uświadamia sobie, że z pomocą publiczności może odbudować swoją siłę i pewność siebie.
Wheelers wystąpi w Polsce po raz pierwszy.

Minyoung Lee (Wheelers) is a circus performer from South Korea. After graduating from the acting school and working in theatre, she started practising circus skills at the age of 30. Most performers begin demanding circus disciplines, especially acrobatics, at a young age. She took on the challenge of overcoming her body's limits.
Coming from a theatre background, Minyoung focuses on creating narrative-driven shows that go beyond technical skill display of her circus skills, including Cyr wheel and Chinese pole.
Each winter, she spends around two months travelling to countries such as the United States, Taiwan, Japan, and Spain, where she connects with artists and experiences different circus cultures.
At Busker Tour 2026, Minyoung Lee will present her new show ‘The Creaky Clown’, which combines puppet theatre and circus, including pole acrobatics. It's the story of a shy and scary skeleton that keeps losing its eyeballs and struggles with everyday life. He realises that with the help of the audience, he can rebuild his strength and self-confidence.
Wheelers will perform in Poland for the first time.
