During the Kupala celebrations and the peak of nature’s bloom, we invite you to a unique meditative bioart workshop and the creation of living flower symbols with artist Mila Kotka at UV Galeria!
Each participant will choose an archaic Slavic symbol that resonates most at this moment — family, wealth, earth, motherhood, youth, beauty — there’s a symbol for every intention. And the summer solstice is a perfect time to attract what you desire into your life. You will work with fresh plants and “draw” your chosen symbol with them, which you’ll then take home.
During the bioart meditation, you will:
• see Mila Kotka’s original bio-hieroglyphs
• explore native flora
• learn about archaic symbols and their meanings, and choose one for your meditation
• “bring to life” your chosen symbol with flowers using the artist’s original technique
• create your own living artwork-talisman (and take it home)
• participate in a collective reflection to connect with others and with yourself
• immerse in an intimate jungle-like atmosphere created by Mila with bioart, meditative music, plant aromas, and light — you’ll feel transported into another dimension for three hours. This experience helps to harmonize your inner state, focus, explore your desires, and build a deep connection with nature, others, and yourself.
The practice will take place in the cozy space of UV Galeria, where nothing will disturb your creative immersion.
Limited to 8 participants.
Each participant will create their own flower artwork-symbol using Mila Kotka’s bioart technique and take it home. The artwork will be alive — as the plants dry over time, their color and shape will change, creating a fascinating process to observe.
Participation fee — 150 PLN.
All materials (flowers, frame, glass, and additional elements) are included in the price.
